When you place a new advertisement, it will be shown on top of the list of regular advertisements. 

This moment is also the time stamp that your advertisement gets. As time passes, your ad will drop in the list. 

This is due to new advertisements that are being placed after you and advertisement that are being placed  back up.

'Zilveren advertenties' and 'Gouden advertenties'  are always shown above the regular advertisements. 

In order to stay in the list as high as possible, we have a few ways to let your advertisement stand-out:

Put your advertisement up
When you put your advertisement up, the advertisement will be given a new time stamp. This timestamp determines the position in the list. Please note: A regular advertisement will be placed on top of the list of the regular advertisements, but never above the 'Zilveren advertenties' and 'gouden advertenties.'
You can put your advertisement on top by calling or by using a credit.

Zilveren advertentie (Silver)
The moment you turn your regular advertisement into a 'Zilveren' advertisement , this advertisement will move from the regular list to the list of 'Zilveren' advertisement. The list of Zilveren' advertisements is shown above the list of regular advertisements. Zilveren' advertisements can be recognized in the list by a yellow square with a star with the advertisement.
The purchase of a 'Zilveren' advertisement, doesn't mean that the advertisement will be placed on the top position in that list. Again, it's the timestamp that determines the position of the advertisement in the list.
A Zilveren' advertisement also drop in the list and can also be put up again in the list.

A Zilveren' advertisement always remain above the regular advertisements. 

You will notice that in one section there are more  advertisements than in another. 

In a section with many advertisements, your  advertisement will drop faster.

Gouden advertentie (Gold)
The moment you turn your regular advertisement into a 'Gouden' advertisement, this advertisement will move from the regular list to the list of 'Gouden' advertisements. The list of 'Gouden' advertisements is shown above the list of regular advertisements and the list of zilveren advertisements. 'Gouden' advertisements be recognized in the list by a red flame with the advertisement.
Also, a 'Gouden' advertisement also be shown underneath every advertisement on Sexjobs, in every category. 

Underneath all advertisements on Sexjobs, four  'Gouden' advertisements are shown. When there are more  'Gouden' advertisements  available places, the  Gouden' advertisements will be shown on a rotation basis.

Opvalsticker (stand-out sticker)
Next to the title of your advertisement, you can place a so-called 'opvalsticker' This is a highlighted piece of text, which will be extra noticed in the advertisement list. (Note: This text can't contain any punctuation marks!)

In your account under 'My advertisements' you will find a yellow star next to each advertisement which says 'Extra opvallen.' If you click on this, a popup will appear with the stand-out options. These options can be combined. Stand-out options start immediately after payment. If you purchase a stand-out option when your advertisement is offline, the stand-out option will start running, but won't be visible. The system does not 'read' whether an advertisement is offline or online, but performs the action purely on advertisement number. Please keep this in mind. We will not compensate 'lost time' because your advertisement was offline when you bought a stand-out option.
